About Centauri
Centauri was born from a friendship between Carly and Holland, two Bloomington-based entrepreneurs with a shared love of beautiful things, good taste, and making everyday life a little more interesting.
We created Centauri because we believe Bloomington deserves a space that feels highly aesthetic and thoughtfully curated while still being genuinely welcoming, a place where you can find something unexpected or get a little help making your home, wardrobe, or life feel more like you.
Through sourcing, styling, art, movement, and creative experiences, we're bringing our own point of view to the things we love and inviting you along for the ride.
HOLLAND COLVIN
Holland is a creative director, stylist, and designer with more than a decade of experience helping a vast array of people and brands turn big ideas into thoughtful, visually compelling worlds. Her eye for design, vintage sourcing, and personal style comes together in a love of finding the unexpected piece that makes a space, wardrobe, or idea click. At Centauri, she brings equal parts creative direction, curiosity, and a belief that taste should feel personal not prescriptive.

Carly is a personal trainer, movement instructor, and home stylist who has spent 16 years personal training and 11 years building a business around helping people feel stronger, more confident, and more at home in their lives. Her approach blends wellness, design, and a natural instinct for creating spaces and experiences that feel both beautiful and inviting. At Centauri, she brings her expertise in movement, home styling, and making people feel seen and comfortable wherever they land.

Why ‘Centauri’
Holland and Carly are both Sagittarians, represented by the centaur.
When digging into the mythology, constellation, and astrology surrounding the centaur, we kept finding little connections that made the name feel increasingly inevitable, especially Proxima Centauri, the closest known star to our Sun. Somewhere between ancient mythology, astrology, and a very deep research rabbit hole, Centauri clicked: it’s celestial, curious, a little unexpected, and perfectly suited to what we’re creating.
